Well...

I Finished GRID World!!!

YEAH!!!

Ok now that's out, the Bonus Codes increase the replayability tenfold..

You can turn GRID into Burnout with takedowns and such its awesome!!!!

It was totally worth it...

Believe me people, if the game you're trying to finish has like bonus features or codes at the end, just keep on winning till the end no matter what. Don't cheat for a game like GRID by calling up Codemasters or worse getting a completed save game. It is worth getting through the career. and when you do finish it by yourself, its awesome! Yeah!!!

Here's another video I took!

There's the 16/17th Le Mans race, the J-Speed One Head 2 Head and the Philips Open Wheel Championship, that GT1 event in Global then its the Global Head 2 Head...

Hmmm.

Here's a new video I uploaded..

Oh and Merry Christmas to all and safe travels if you are going overseas. Also Happy New Year!!!

Just been taking the final pics of my TMUF drifting pics. It's awesome. And also I created my GRID teamskin on my Audi RS4 (couple of pics there).

Any way here we go:

"Hey Buddy, I'm in second place."

Blog'D by Atamarashi

Well I tweaked my GRID settings so it is smooth as while waiting for the cable and I played alot...

I've won 24 heurs du Le Mans 3 times and I got a good Japanese team mate

My cash is over 2 million and I got the J-Speed Two license

The team mate's name is Yori Kaneda

...

I also got a new drifting friend in Trackmania United Forever, a German person who speaks perfect english.

I'm also saying in FFX, the relationship between Tidus and Yuna inspired my book's relationship between Dacyx and Natalie.

Uh oh. Said too much...

Oh ok now my sound works awesomely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Yeah! And guess what...

I installed a totally awesomereristic Nvidia 7800 GTX 512 in to replce my Nvidia 6600 GT and it smashes it at everything graphically possible...

And I got 2 GB RAM (DDR2 - 667MHz SDRAM)

So my gaming machine is AWESOME TO THE MAX!

yeah but I need a spare PCI-E power cable to get the full potential of the video card as it has lowered its performance to prevent crashing. It already is awesome with a reduction in power so who's to know what it would be like full-on???

Portal Credit song - "Still Alive"

by Jonathan Coulton and Ellen McLain (GlaDOS)

This was a triumph
I'm making a note here
HUGE SUCCESS
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction
Aperture Science

we do what we must because we can
for the good of all of us except for the ones who are dead
but there's no sense crying over every mistake
you just keep on trying until you run out of cake
and the science gets done and you make a neat gun
for the people who are still alive

I'm not even angry
I'm being so sincere right now
even though you broke my heart and killed me
and torn into pieces
and threw every piece into a fire
as they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you!
Now these points of data make a wonderful line
and we're out of beta, we're releasing on time
so I'm glad I got burned
Think of all the things we learned for the people that are still alive

go ahead and leave me
I think I prefer to stay inside
maybe you'll find someone else to help you
maybe black mesa
that was a joke, haha, fat chance
anyway this cake is great, it's so delicious and moist
look at me still talking, when there's science to do
when I look out there it makes me glad I'm not you
I've experiments to run, there is research to be done
on the people who are still alive

and believe me I am still alive
I'm doing science and I'm still alive
I feel FANTASTIC and I'm still alive
While you are dying I'll be still alive
and when you're dead I'll be still alive
STILL ALIVE, still alive

ZZZZ....Epic Silence....

My upstairs computer (racing gaming orientated) has no sound from the speakers, or headphones for that matter, which is totally strange as it was working perfectly a week ago. I'm trying to get some help from a great computing forum at www.computerhope.com and progress is on its way...

It's weird not having sound while everything else on the computer works...

so I'm confined to playing Live for Speed, VT3 and whatever else is on downstairs computer...

Oh and I got the TDU Megapack!!! Awesomeness!!!

I got the Noble M400 after much mathematical comparison and it totally blows away the competition once you get used to the fact you will spin out every 2 seconds you're starting to corner with full throttle (as I'm used to my Lambo Gallardo SE (AWD). It is offically my high-powered extreme fully tuned mid engined rear drive drift monster.

A day with the Stig on track

Blog'D by Atamarashi

Some say his voice can be only be heard by cats. Others say his heart ticks like a watch and is confused by stairs. Some say he never blinks and that he roams around the woods at night foraging for wolves. But all we know is, he's The Stig.

I'm feeling nervous as I can see his figure on the horizon...

His very presence nearly wets the pants of the other drivers today...

He's wearing a different suit today, but it still is made by Alpinestars. As he faces me near the open door he folds his arms in typical Stig stance. I shudder and explain that this monster of a car is very similar to a BMW M3 GTR race car and its engine is the 4.0L V8 that powered it.

i don't think he heard me as he got into the car and fired it up. I can detect the strong smell of octane booster in his breath. He backs out of the garage and onto the track for what seems a very long time.

It's nearly start time and he has just got into the race formation. The other drivers are nervous and they wait...

The green light is shown and immediately, The Stig thunders away, leaving the others in his wake.

He reaches the first corner and other are not far behind... The race continues, and here are the highlight pics.

If you can already tell by the pics and the fakish scenario, The Stig is not actually driving and these are screenshots of Live For Speed...

Oh and if you're wondering who this awesome driver is, it's myself, thankyou very much.

I drive awesomely and I'm also in awe of my FXO GTR that looks like the BMW M3 GTR Le Mans car, sounds like it too and drives like it as well.

It's my favourite car...

See more pics later like crashing cars on the Kyoto Ring...

Grid DLC!!!! (Sourced from IGN.com by Ryan Geddes)

Blog'D by Atamarashi

When Codemasters released its new driving game Grid this summer, car fans rejoiced. Some of the world's highest-performing automobiles were included in the game, lovingly rendered all. At launch, Grid included a top-notch survey of some of racing's hottest whips -- Nissans, BMWs, American muscle cars, F1 monsters and more. But at 45 cars, some gamers thought Grid's garage a tad bit thin. But that's about to change.

Although no date or pricing has been set yet, Codies has confirmed that eight new vehicles are on the way for Grid as part of an 8-Ball pack for download on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network. All the rides will be available in Race Day mode and in Grid's online mode, which will also get two new multiplayer events as part of the 8-Ball pack

Codies also gave us some news that's sure to please Australian Grid fans: V8 Supercars are on the way. Later this year, Aussies can expect their favorite Ford and Holden cars, as well as the Bathurst circuit, to be playable in Grid as part of another DLC pack.

Sorry, we glazed over during that last bit. We only have eyes for the first car on the list, the legendary McLaren F1. It will be ours. Oh yes.

McLaren F1 GTR

The McLaren F1 GTR wrote itself into the history books as the only GT car to ever win Le Mans and is considered one of the finest examples of automotive engineering in history.

TVR Cerbera Speed 12

The TVR 12 smashes past 60 MPH in just under 3 seconds. Production models were planned, but they were considered too powerful to sell to the general public.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

For over a decade the Evo has been billed as a supercar slayer -- now the Evo-X in Grid lets you unleash its sledgehammer aggression in the Pro-Tuned class.

Honda S2000

This roadster is heavily modified for drifting and has become a cult-favourite thanks to its award-winning engine.

Nissan GT-R (S-G2008)

The production model was Top Gear's Supercar of the Year 2007. Now one of the world's hottest cars makes its debut in Grid in its fully tuned racing spec.

VW Nardo

This powerful concept car made real from VW uses its 600BHP engine to rocket to 60MPH in 3.1 seconds.

Volvo C30

Adding to Grid's touring car roster comes the C30, Volvo's agile, cutting edge hot-hatch straight from the STCC grid.

Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (No image available yet) -- The 1971 racing edition of this true American legend is a worthy addition to Grid's exclusive group of muscle cars.

Hello World! - Mmmhmmm

Blog'D by Atamarashi

Ok, so I haven't posted in awhile...

Well who cares honestly?

I've finally gotten a wired 360 controller to use with my racing games.... Yay!

Oh and I'm playing Live For Speed as well...

So I've calibrated and get the drivers for it and its all set up for Live For Speed (by the way my fav. car is the FXO GTR (with BMW M3 GTR sound!!!)), Race Driver Grid (totally-awesome-handling-ness!!!!!!!!!! Check my replays!!!!!) and I have to set it up for TDU...

Report so far:

Live For Speed:

Just got it last week or maybe last, last week, any way, I've been getting custom engine sounds, especially the m3 gtr sound for the FXO GTR... Oh and good skins as well, must get the most wanted skin for my FXO GTR so it will be complete!... Also played online and its quite awesome... The 360 controller got me 2 seconds ahead on Blackwood Park in my Fav. FXO GTR!

Race Driver Grid:

Now its handling awesomeness or my way: "awesomererism" I really like the handling with the 360 controller, specially in Drift - Improved to 725,793 pts in Drift GP with the Nissan Silvia S15! Got to do some more Grid World...

Test Drive Unlimited:

Haven't done much, will set up 360 controller for it as well...

Spore:

Still in Space stage, just flying round, oh and the invading people were too much and I gave my secondary civilisations to them... Should I set up my 360 controller for this?

Gran Turismo 4:

Ok, done a lot of stuff like:

  • Like The Wind
  • Got my Super license - uber pwnerage (all bronzes except silver on last one) and Nath or anyone else for that matter that I know has got it as well.
  • Real Circuit Tours - Gran Turismo Skyline GTR (Pace Car) '01
  • Dream Car Championship (Easy with the Minolta) - Nissan GT-R Concept LM Race Car '01 is totally awesome!!! V6TT FR and only second on my Power Laptimes on Tsukuba piloted by none only than my Stig aspect of driving...
  • Some rally things like Special Conditions Hall - This time with my Lancia Delta HF Intergrale Rally Car - I got off-road rally skills!!! Skillage!
  • Etc...
Oh and I got exams....... only for one and a half weeks (in total though)

So I gotta study and I'm limiting myself not to use the 360 controller until after the exams...

Wish me luck! I really need it...

Razor Blayde

GT4: 26.9% - 42 or 43 cars - Cr: 917,000

Blog'D by Atamarashi

I reckon I'm going pretty far again in GT4...

The last event I've done was an enduro...

That was quite tiring and also worth it I guess...

So, once I got to 25.4%, I went to the Endurance Hall and decided to go to the 'Laguna Seca 200 miles' event thinking, "This must be easy and short, it's Laguna Seca after all..."

Yeah, real correct thought, not.

I drove my favourite BMW M3 GTR and aced the lot of them out in front. About 36 laps later, I was still first, with second about a lap behind and I'm actually tired...

Well I pulled into pits on that 38th lap and here on then, I let the B-spec driver take over as I was actually (I really couldn't believe it) tired from driving. In a videogame.

I obviously sped up the race threefold and waited about 1 and a half hours before the last lap...

The race was over and I was drained...

A total of 90 laps in 2 hours and 45 minutes. And I'll have to do this, and possibly ones lasting for a realtime 24 hours (in A-spec) even more times.

Argh!

TDU update!!!

Blog'D by Atamarashi

Today well, I decided to get the v1.66A patch for TDU...

It's understandable as I was pretty tired of my corrupted save with the bald headed guy sitting on the couch instead of my usual guy and all these weird achievements I had never seen before...

So, I installed the patch (yes, it was very quick - 2-5 seconds), booted up TDU and voila, se magnifique!

Say hello to TDU v1.66A... and other features... but I'll get back that in a moment...

I selected "New Game" to get rid of that annoying corrupted save, selected the character, watched the intro and generally started a new leaf/game, specifically the latter. Through the tutorial, sensibly choosing a low cost car - Lotus Elise R for 10 minutes, bought the same Ale Moana house, bought the same Audi TT Sport Quattro, raced a couple races and I checked for the new cars...

Yes! They are there! So the first Vehicle Transport mission I found I perfected and bought the Nissan Skyline R34 GTR - $50,000 (D Class).

Here's pics of a little joy ride:
So, I tuned it up, hoping it would turn into a Nismo Skyline GTR Z tune and it didn't.

Anyway, Pro now, $305,000 or so and liking this game even more...
