Very Gripping Stuff Indeed

Like we have never heard before...

The curtain raised with a slight shudder, no problems yet...

There was the target, a slim, attractive hesitant opera singer that was totally unaware like the rest of the audience of what was to unfold in the next few minutes.

The man appeared unimportant in the background, high above everyone, with a hidden malicious intent. The first warble began at an uncomfortably high pitch for everyone, much to the singer's nervousness.

"Time." was the simple order given in the man's earpiece.
That was the signal. Given the situation in general, he wouldn't have agreed to it so hastily, however he needed the money bad. His wife was complaining that they couldn't go anywhere fast with what little resources they had. All that was not important now as he had to get the shot just right.

Shaw (his callsign) cocked his rifle and prepared to take a shot. He winced slightly at the sudden shrieking going on at the stage.

Easy...you don't want to miss this...Shaw thought to himself.

He eased his finger on the finger, ready for a quick clean shot right in the heart.

Click...Chunk!

Something was jammed in the gun! Shaw immediately swore in silence then pulled out his transmitter and said,"Gun jammed."

"Then what are you waiting for? Pull out a handgun and make the shot! You only have fifty seconds left!" was the reply in his ear.

Shaw reached for his handgun and felt cold air instead.

End Of Chapter 1 - The Show.

Wasn't that awesome? Well that was the result of a quick writer spark...
If you also found that awesome and you want to read more of it, say so in the comments and also come up with a name for it as well.

The Language Barrier...

Since I found out that Google had something similar to Babelfish, I thought I would experiment with it a little...

For Example:

(English): How I like those onions!

(French): J'aime comment les oignons!

(German): Ich mag, wie die Zwiebeln!

What fun isn't it? Keep everyone guessing....
