Le Este Articulo en Espanol

Huh. Strange as it may be, it is not up to the executives and media people who apparently 'care about the environment' (because all the hype would make them more money from scams and such) to influence the plots and maybe morals or message in books or games or tv shows.

Such an example would be the fourth Maximum Ride book, The Final Warning.

Now, as you may conclude from the title, the book has an ulterior message that is quite inappropriate and unnecessary to include in a fictional novel, especially in a series like Maximum Ride, which has so far gained popular status among young adults (11-15). This kind of marketing and blatant advertisement of the current situation is downright ridiculous and totally unnecessary. Its like a little kid pushing along a toy tricycle with huge loud speakers blasting out messages for all to hear.

The message in the book is not that well concealed, as after about the 10th chapter, it just yarns about global warming excessively as if the author had nothing else to type/write in terms of the plot. When I was reading this, I thought it would actually be a good combination of fiction and the obvious reality. As not really expected, it was extremely and I'm stressing 'extremely', disappointing, not to mention tacky.

I really wish novels were just novels without an ever present conservative issue like they used to be. This does not mean I don't care for the rest of the biosphere, no, quite the opposite.
